I have always been artistic in one way or another. I didn't get seriously interested in photography until my senior year in high school. I decided to try out a new art class which was B&W film photography. It was fun but also a struggle as our instructor was not all there...mixing up the chemicals, destroying our images, etc.
Thankfully it didn't destroy my passion for wanting to learn more about photography. Not long after Canon finally brought out a DSLR for consumers in 2003. The gift was actually supposed to be my mom's but I ended up using it a lot more then she did. Learning beyond the auto button!
Besides photography animals and nature have also been big passions of mine. Why not have best of the two worlds?! So I decided to put the two together and Silivrenwolf Photography was born.

Well you see I love Tolkien's Lord of the Rings and especially his elves and the elvish language he created. I also especially love wolves and created a wolf character (seen in my logo) that is white but since there are many "Whitewolves" out there I needed to create something unique that no one else would have. Thus Silivrenwolf! Silivren basically means "white" in Sindarin elvish.
